Hawaii Time Now

Hawaii is an island in the USA. It is situated in the Pacific Ocean and is 2000 miles distant from USA's mainland. Honolulu is the capital of Hawaii island. Hawaii has HAST as its standard time. HAST( Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time) is not just used in Hawaii but it is also the standard time of Aleutian( a chain of 14 volcanic islands).

 

HAST lags behind UTC by 9 hrs (i.e. -9 GMT/UTC). In contrast to USA's mainland and states these Islands do not observe Daylight Saving Time( DST ).
